Country House – Somerset

The dining room ceiling was painted in order to re-create Tudor patterns. The original and very old joists create a framework where typically Tudor green and red alternate. Some missing joists have been re-created by wood graining matching the existing ones. The corridor has a Trompe l’oeil wood panelling inspired by the original one still present in the adjacent living room.
